Pokemon Direct viewers were treated to a trio of new games announcements, including Pokken Tournament Deluxe for Nintendo Switch. Pokken Tournament DX has a September 22 release date on Nintendo Switch, complete with new features. The Nintendo Switch port of the Wii U fighting game features five additional characters, including Decidueye. Litten and Popplio also join the support roster of characters. Fans can expect Legendary Pokemon such as Solgaleo and Lunala, as well as new story details and more. Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon have November 17 release dates on Nintendo 3DS. Elsewhere, Pokemon Gold and Silver will join the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console on September 22. These games, which debuted as Game Boy Color-titles in Japan, are being recreated into Virtual Console versions such that their screens appear just as they did on the Game Boy Color, reads a Nintendo statement. Both titles will be compatible with the wireless communication features of the Nintendo 3DS and Trainers can look forward to Link Trades and Link Battles between Virtual Console versions of Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver. ![]()
